
Newly elected MEPs will head to Brussels on Tuesday for their first engagements in the European Parliament.
Although the next term does not sit until July 2, the new representatives must meet their transnational political groupings first.
More candidates have also joined the Conservative leadership race, with housing minister Kit Malthouse throwing his hat into the ring on Monday.
Ten Conservatives have now put their names forward to take over from Theresa May when she resigns on June 7.
