Boris Johnson has told MPs if they agree to a December 12 general election he will give them more time to debate his Brexit deal.
It comes as the Government succeeded in passing the Queen's speech through the commons.
In letter to Jeremy Corbyn, Mr Johnson wrote: "This Parliament has refused to take decisions. It cannot refuse to let the voters replace it with a new Parliament that can make decisions."
It comes amid signs the EU is set to grant a fresh Brexit delay until the end of January after Mr Johnson was forced - under the terms of the so-called Benn Act - to request a further extension.
