Boris Johnson has pulled out of a press conference with Luxembourg Prime Minister amid "noisy" protests today.
Lively protests began following a "working lunch" between Mr Johnson and European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker, which Downing Street described as "constructive".
But a statement from the Commission suggested no progress had been made in breaking the deadlock in negotiations over the contentious Irish backstop.
Mr Juncker's office said it was the UK's responsibility to come forward with "legally operational solutions" to the hard border issue.
