Boris Johnson’s Brexit deal has returned to the House of Commons as MPs began three days of detailed debate on the Withdrawal Agreement Bill.
The government resumed its efforts to secure Britain's departure from the EU by the end of the month, as the House thrashed out the terms late into the evening on Tuesday.
It came as Labour MPs made their opening pitches to replace Jeremy Corbyn as Labour leader.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister held a National Security Council meeting at Downing Street, setting out the importance of protecting British citizens and interests in the Middle East and de-escalating tensions.
