Parliament Square has been scrubbed clean following last night's raucous Brexit Day celebrations.
Today marks the UK's first day outside the EU after leaving the bloc after 47 years of union with Europe.
Brexit took place at 11pm on Friday - more than three years after the 52-48 referendum - and was marked by a countdown clock beamed onto the walls of Downing Street.
Now the UK enters into a transition period, where little will change until the agreed timeframe for trade talks reaches its deadline at the end of December 2020.
