Brexit could happen on HALLOWEEN under new EU offer

Brexit could happen on Halloween , if Theresa May agrees to the European Union's offer of a delay.

The UK is due to crash out of the EU on 12 April 2019 without a deal, if an extension is not agreed.

The Prime Minister originally asked for a delay until 30 June, but the EU told her the UK would have to leave by 12 April, or 22 May at the latest, if MPs agreed Mrs May's Brexit deal.

However, after MPs continually rejected that deal, the PM was forced to go back to Brussels and beg for another extension, while opening up talks with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn .

The 27 remaining EU member states are now offering to extend the Brexit deadline until October 31, with a "break clause" of June 30 where British co-operation will be reviewed.

Mrs May will also have to agree to this deadline before it becomes official.
