Brexit celebration in Leeds will have speeches, fireworks and dancing

A party in Leeds to celebrate Brexit will have speeches, fireworks and dancing.

The Big Brexit Bash has been organised in part by Andrea Jenkyns, Conservative MP for Morley and Outwood and passionate Brexiteer.

It will be held on the evening of Friday January 31 - the day the UK officially leaves the European Union - although the venue is not being advertised.

A description of the event reads: "In conjunction with Andrea Jenkyns MP, Lucy Harris MEP and Cllr Robert Finnigan, join us to commemorate a significant moment in history as the UK finally leaves the European Union.

"Join us for music, singing, dancing, speeches, food, stalls and fireworks - as we come together and look forward to a new, global chapter in UK history."

Tickets cost £5 for adults and under 12s can get in for free.
