'Brewster, Cash & Odour in' - Sheffield United sent transfer message amid Nottingham Forest rumours

Sheffield United fans have been reacting to Luke Freeman's impending move to Nottingham Forest.

Freeman is set to sign for Sabri Lamouchi's side on a season-long loan deal from the Bramall Lane side, with reports claiming that he was heading for a medical with the Reds yesterday.

Freeman has struggled for form at the Blades in his first full season with the club after completing a £5 million move from Queens Park Rangers last summer.

He made only 16 appearances for Chris Wilder's side with the former Arsenal man managing only three starts in the Premier League.

Freeman will be hoping to impress for the Reds in the Championship after a fine 2018-19 season for QPR, in which he scored nine goals and registered eight assists from central midfield.

And United fans have had their say, hoping that Freeman's departure means incomings will be on the horizon for the club.

"There's no way Wilder lets Freeman go unless he’s got someone coming in," one fan said.

"Freeman and Callum Robinson out," added another. "Rhian Brewster, Matty Cash and Clarke Oduor in."

A third said: "Odd move unless we've got a replacement over the line."

"I wouldn’t have let him go, I like him as a player and it seems a strange move that makes no sense," added another.

A fifth fan said: "Interesting this. Could signal two new incoming Blades signings."
