CHICAGO_Ryan Braun's 300th career home run, a two-run shot to left-center field in the first inning off John Lackey, helped the Brewers top the Cubs 2-0 on Friday night at Wrigley Field.
Two of the four hits Lackey allowed in seven innings came during the first. The right-hander didn't allow another run, walked two and struck out nine before departing for a pinch-hitter in the seventh.
