BrewDog to open a craft beer hotel in the UK and there's even beer in the showers

BrewDog is opening a brand new craft beer in the UK and no, this isn't a belated April Fool's joke.

The drinks company really is looking to open new hotel DogHouse London.

It's by no means BrewDog's first foray into the world of hotels - it already has a DogHouse offering in Columbus, Ohio, adjacent to its brewery there.

Unsurprisingly, it has quite the beer theme.

Rooms boast large beds, modern decor and views of the brewery, while there are extra perks from beer fridges in the shower to draft beer in every room.

The plan is to bring the same concept to the UK, although it sounds like there could be even more fun features for guests - the company has said it might look at bringing in Punk IPA Jacuzzis.

Just like its Columbus counterpart, the new London hotel will have its own on-site museum, where guests can learn about the history of the brand as well as the beers themselves and the brewing process.

Then of course there'll be a dedicated trail along the company's twelve BrewDog bars across London (walk at your leisure and leave plenty of time to include sightseeing as well!).

Meanwhile, members of the brand's Equity Punks will be able to bag discounted stays - although no details on room fares have been revealed.

At the moment, the hotel is very much in the early planning stages. In fact, the company is currently searching for a site in London, and has even called out to customers to share suggestions as to locations they think could be apt.

Still, we can't wait to find out what surprises are in store when it eventually opens its doors.

There's no denying that the company is getting creative in its offerings for customers - after all, it's even launched a BrewDog airline !
