BrewDog teams up with local producers to mark Collabfest craft beer event

BrewDog bars around the world have teamed up with local independent breweries producing small-batch beers to tantalise the tastebuds of drinkers for the chain's Collabfest event.

Breweries such as Overtone (Glasgow), Brew York (York), and Orbit (London) have joined the event, developing a myriad of beer varieties ranging from Lemon Cheesecake sours to Biscoff Stouts.

These limited-edition drinks will be available in BrewDog bars in 16 countries around the world between this coming weekend.

All beers will be available in one third of a pint measures, giving customers the chance to experiment and sample the variety of styles and breweries on offer.

Brewers and bars will go head-to-head on a live leader board which is available to view on brewdog.com/collabfest. At the end of the event, the brewery with the most votes will be crowned the winner of Collabfest2021, as voted for by the beer-drinking public.

Drinkers who cannot attend one of BrewDog’s bars can still enjoy the beers through BrewDog NOW, the beer brand’s super-slick delivery app, which gives users the chance to order freshly ‘cans of beer, which come in 500ml servings.

J ames Watt, BrewDog co-founder, said: " Collabfest is the biggest beer event in our calendar and one of the coolest things we do. Our number one passion has always been craft beer, so we’re proud to be championing both creativity and collaboration through partnerships with amazing breweries local to our bars, across one epic weekend.

"Every day, each bar will have a totally new range of beers on offer, and we hope you're as excited as we are by the sheer range of original brews - you might even find a new favourite."

Throughout the event, consumers are encouraged to share pictures of their experience using #Collabfest2021 on social media channels to be in with a chance of winning a night for two at BrewDog’s new beer hotel, Doghouse Manchester.
