BrewDog plans to deliver cans of beer by drone in UK

BrewDog says it is looking into a beer delivery service by drone in the UK after launching a similar initiative in Ohio.

The Ellon-based brewer has been operating a home delivery service through its BrewDog Now online service. The firm says the Columbus service will be run as a pilot scheme on Sundays.

The firm posted a promotional video of a drone dropping off cans to customers in the city and wrote on Twitter: "In July, we will start using drones to make socially distanced beer deliveries to various locations on our 42 acre Columbus campus.

"And we are exploring using drones as the next stage of our BrewDog Now delivery service here in the UK."
