Scottish gin fans looking for a new taste of summer could be getting exactly that with news of the latest release from BrewDog 's distilling arm.
BrewDog Distilling Co. has just announced the launch of LoneWolf Peach & Passionfruit Gin, which they say is filled with big tropical flavours.
The craft spirit is infused with juicy white peach, sweet passionfruit and a hint of yuzu's citrus sharpness, and described by the distilling team as being "perfect for breezy days and balmy nights".
Traditional gin fans don't need to worry as they also confirmed that the classic juniper backbone which gives gin its name is still there too.
A spokesperson for BrewDog said: "BrewDog Distilling Co.’s innovative distilling team have brought a taste of the tropics to the UK just in time for Spring and the prospect of freedom.
"This is an urban beach of a gin that will take you on holiday, even though you can’t go on one, just add tonic, ice, and a peach slice."
Taking four months to perfect, the new addition to their range features the sweetness of peach coupled with juniper and the tropical notes of passion fruit and a zesty finish of yuzu
Exclusively available from BrewDog.com, the exciting new gin is priced at £25 for 700ml.
The news follows the opening of the Brewery's first UK beer hotel, DogHouse Manchester.
Located just a few minutes from Manchester's Northern Quarter, the site will host 18 rooms, each kitted out with in-room beer taps and shower beer fridges.
