Valentine's Day can be a tough one for singletons, having to hear about your pal's fancy dinner date and bouquet of roses.
But some people occupy a uniquely quasi-romantic position, as the resident third wheel in a friend's relationship.
You love each other as friends, will tag along on their day dates and are more than happy to go to the movies together - sound familiar?
In honour of these special trios, Brewdog on Lothian Road, in Edinburgh, are offering "free meals for third wheels" on 14 February.
If you're a couple, you can bring along a pal and they'll be treated to a free pizza or burger on Brewdog.
They said: "Valentines Day, love it or hate it; its only around the corner.
"Swing by with your significant other, bring a mate and they'll eat for free! Yup, third wheeling has never been this profitable."
All you have to do is walk in or book a table for three and quote "free meal for third wheels".
If you're looking for a date out with your mates, Edinburgh Grand are also throwing a PALentine's Day party, on Thursday (13 February).
