EVERYONE'S least favourite beer brand boss has once again found a way to embarrass himself on the internet.
James Watt, or "Ellon Musk" as the Scottish businessman has been called recently since coming up with his own Doge-inspired scheme, is holding a competition for fans – with quite the prize on offer.
The BrewDog founder is giving people the chance to come to his house (shared with card-carrying Tory member wife, reality "star" Georgia Toffolo) for a party.
Five lucky winners will get transport to and from London, put up in a hotel, and "dinner and drinks" at his home.
Fans are promised to be greeted with a "room full of investors, founders and rebels". Well done if you got through the sentence without doing a full-body cringe.
It's all part of a scheme to publicise his new app, which seems to want to turn everybody into influencers. Sigh.
"Imagine needing pals so much you run an Insta competition," one person wrote on Reddit.
"Psychology of someone who thinks so much of himself that spending time with him counts as a competition prize…" added another.
Plenty of other commentors suggested what they would prefer to do with their time. "I'd rather slam my nuts in my car door while listening to a recorder cover of the Proclaimers honker 500 miles on repeat," one person suggested creatively. The Jouker suggests you do not try this at home.
