Brentford vs Man United - LIVE!
Kevin Schade was at the double as Brentford beat Manchester United 4-3 in a seven-goal thriller to further their hunt for European qualification in the Premier League.
United failed to replicate their impressive 3-0 win over Athletic Bilbao in the week, despite Mason Mount's first goal of the season giving their much-changed team the lead at the Gtech Community Stadium on Sunday. But a Luke Shaw own-goal and Schade's first before half-time turned things around before the German forward, who scored in Brentford's 2-0 win over Nottingham Forest on Thursday, grabbed his second after the break.
Yoane Wissa's 18th goal of the season came made it 4-1, only for two excellent strikes by Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo set up a tense finish. The Bees held firm in the final stages to hold on for victory, lifting themselves up to ninth in the table and just a point behind the eighth position that could earn a spot in the Conference League.

Damsgaard gets the touch, flicks off Shaw and beyond Bayindir.
Brentford 0-1 Man United

Brentford unable to build any pressure.
Brentford 0-1 Man United

Here we go!
13:58 , Matt VerriTeams are in the tunnel, will be out onto the pitch any minute now.
Brentford the favourites heading into this, and that’s only been strengthened after the teams were announced.
Frank provides update on Mbeumo's future
13:51 , Matt VerriBrentford will listen to offers for Bryan Mbeumo this summer, manager Thomas Frank has confirmed.
Mbeumo is enjoying the best goalscoring season of his career and needs just two more goals to hit the 20-goal mark in the Premier League for the first time.
Standard Sport revealed last month that the Bees expect to receive offers for both Mbemo and fellow forward Yoane Wissa once the season ends.
Wissa has 16 Premier League goals this season and was the subject of a £22million offer from Nottingham Forest in January. Tottenham have also been linked with the striker, while Mbeumo is of interest to Newcastle and reportedly has admirers at Arsenal.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Frank said: “If the right price — and that’s going to be expensive — is coming, then I’m sure the club will be open to [selling Mbeumo].
“But I’m very happy he is here, and I’m convinced that Bryan will still be happy playing football here.”

Not long now
13:42 , Matt VerriThis is your 20-minute warning.
Victory for Brentford and they could move up to ninth, only a point behind Bournemouth in eighth.
The race for European football next season is still firmly in the balance.
More stats...
13:28 , Matt VerriHere’s another one for you.
The Man United starting lineup has an average age of 22 years and 270 days.
Per Opta, that’s the third-youngest side every named in the competition, and the youngest since 2009.
Luke Shaw at 29 really letting the side down.
History made!
13:23 , Matt VerriBig chance for Chido Obi.
Fair to say Man United’s strikers haven’t exactly been lighting it up this season, so could be an opportunity in these final Premier League matches to show he can really challenge Rasmus Hojlund for a place in the side.
A special day for #MUFC's Chido Obi. 🌟#BBCFootball #BREMUN pic.twitter.com/MZZ9Slq9v4

Frank: Man United have deserved more this season
13:14 , Matt VerriThomas Frank insists Brentford will not be taking Manchester United lightly, believing the visitors deserve more than their Premier League position suggests.
“It’s a team that is very structured, they know what they want to do offensively and defensively,” he said.
“The performances in Europe show that there is potential and actually in the Premier League they have not got what they have played to.
“There are a lot of games with high expected goals and chances, the rhythm of the games, they have deserved more.”
In the building!

Confidence high!
12:28 , Matt VerriManchester United picked up a stunning win in Bilbao on Thursday night.
They were dominated in the opening 20 minutes, came through that and then scored three goals before half-time, as the hosts were reduced to ten men.
Fair to say that Ruben Amorim’s side have one foot in the Europa League final.
Amorim: Brentford match not the focus
12:17 , Matt VerriRuben Amorim has said Manchester United will focus on “saving players” this afternoon, as he has one eye on the second leg against Athletic Bilbao on Thursday.
“For example, Nous Mazraoui cannot play,” Amorim said. “He's in the limit to get an injury.
"So we are going to deal with that and prepare a game against a team that they won today and is in a great moment. And we have always a responsibility to perform.
“We have always a responsibility to offer the result. But in this moment, we have to be clear. Our focus is more on saving players and trying to be competitive.
"It’s not a good thing to say, but we need to understand the context.”

Stage is set!

Standard Sport prediction
11:59 , Matt VerriManchester United have developed a knack of getting a result when it is not expected of them. Just take the win in Bilbao as a perfect example.
But with changes expected and players perhaps saving themselves for a likely Europa League final, a Brentford side slowly returning to form should be too strong.
Brentford to win, 2-0
Man United team news
11:50 , Matt VerriRuben Amorim could name several youngsters in his Manchester United team against Brentford after admitting he is ready to “risk” plenty of changes.
United’s game in west London is sandwiched in between the two legs of their Europa League semi-final tie against Athletic Bilbao.
Amorim admitted after the win in Spain that some of his players had reached their physical limit with a number of changes now expected.
Harry Amass, Tyler Fredricson, Jaydan Kamason, Sekou Kone, Bendito Mantato and Chido Obi could all feature.
Ayden Heaven and Toby Collyer remain sidelined along with long-term absentees Lisandro Martinez, Joshua Zirkzee and Diogo Dalot, who will not play again this season. Jonny Evans has also yet to return.
Predicted Manchester United XI: Onana; Fredricson, De Ligt, Shaw; Kamason, Ugarte, Eriksen, Amass; Mainoo, Mount; Obi

Brentford team news
11:42 , Matt VerriBrentford have no fresh injury concerns coming out of win over Nottingham Forest with manager Thomas Frank stating: “Everyone is safe, fit, okay. We are ready to go again on Sunday.”
