A man in his 20s has died and a woman in her 80s is fighting for her life following a horror knife attack outside a London pub this evening.
Police have launched a murder investigation following the stabbing in Brentford, West London.
The man died at the scene and the elderly woman was rushed to hospital in a critical condition.
No arrests have yet been made and police say there is nothing to suggest it is a terrorist attack.
Locals say the attack took place outside The Royal Horseguardsman in Ealing Road, close to Brentford's football ground.

A Met Police spokesman said: "An investigation has been launched after two people were stabbed at around 8pm on Frida in Albany Parade, Brentford.
"One man, believed to be aged around 20 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish his identity. As such, his family have not yet been informed.
"A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.
"A woman, aged in her 80s, was taken to hospital suffering stab injuries.
"Her condition is believed to be critical.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances.
"At this stage, there is nothing to suggest that the incident is linked to terrorism."
A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "We were called at 7.49pm today to reports of an incident on Albany Road, Brentford.
"We sent a number of resources, including four ambulance crews, a medic in a car, a clinical team leader, an incident response officer, a hazardous area response team, and an advanced paramedic.
"We also dispatched by road London's Air Ambulance.
"Sadly, one person died at the scene.
"We treated another person at the scene and took them to a hospital as a priority."
