Brentford’s historic first Premier League game confirmed and full 2021/22 fixtures list

One of the days Brentford fans have been waiting for is here - the Premier League fixtures are out.

The 2021/22 campaign will be the first time the Bees have played in the Premier League, having won promotion from the Championship via the play-offs last season.

Thomas Frank guided his side to the top flight thanks to a 2-0 win over Swansea City in the final at Wembley last month, making up for their defeat to rivals Fulham at the same stage the previous campaign.

And while supporters will be looking forward to the big kick-off on Saturday, August 14, they would have pencilled in today as the first date to look forward to - finding out who they would be playing and when.

And the wait is now over, with the fixtures for the entire 2021/22 campaign released.

football.london can reveal that Brentford will take on London rivals Arsenal at home at the Brentford Community Stadium on Saturday, August 14.

The Bees will follow that up with another London derby and a trip to Crystal Palace the next week, before games against Aston Villa and Brighton.

Boxing Day will be away on the coast at Brighton, with the final day at home to Leeds United.
