Leeds United have been linked with moves for Ollie Watkins and Said Benrahma and fans will be intrigued by a recent decision made by their club Brentford.
The Bees were in action this afternoon as they beat Derby County 3-0 but the duo were both missing from the squad.
This comes amid links with Leeds and Aston Villa, with the Whites more heavily linked with Watkins.
The pre-season game between Brentford and Derby was an almost full-strength clash, with Wayne Rooney among others featuring for the Rams.
Brentford selected usual suspects Pontus Jansson, Bryan Mbeumo, Ethan Pinnock, Sergi Canos and England under-21 midfielder Josh Dasilva.
But Watkins and Benrahma were noticeably absent from Thomas Frank's team sheet, with both players in high demand during the summer transfer window.
Watkins bagged 26 goals last season and now Leeds, Villa, Fulham, Crystal Palace and West Brom are chasing the £25 million-rated striker.
The 24-year-old has previously responded to a question about his future from a Villa fan by smiling and laughing before posing for a picture with the supporter, per Birmingham Live.
Benrahma, meanwhile, is valued nearer £30 million and both Villa and Leeds have been involved in rumours surrounding the winger.
