Brentford fans have this message for Leeds United after signing Pontus Jansson

Leeds United confirmed last night that Pontus Jansson has left the club to join Brentford after a whirlwind few days in the transfer window.

The Swedish international has left Elland Road after an undisclosed fee was agreed between the two clubs. He has signed a three-year deal at Griffin Road, with a club option of a fourth year.

Jansson enjoyed three seasons at Leeds after arriving initially on loan in August 2016 before penning a £3.5million permanent deal the following summer.

He finished with 120 appearances for the Whites and become a fan favourite with his passionate displays on the pitch.

Despite Bielsa claiming that Jansson was his most important player during the Argentine's first season at the club, reports emerged in recent days that the club were keen to cut ties with the 28-year-old.

This has seen the Bees, who finished 11th in the Championship last season, swoop for a reported £5.5million fee. Bees fans have now been reacting to the transfer and it seems they have a message for Leeds United.
