Brentford have confirmed that midfielder Kamohelo Mokotjo and forward Nikos Karelis have both left the club.
The duo had signed short-term contract extensions running to the end of the extended 2019-20 season.
But they are now free agents following the Bees' Sky Bet Championship play-off final defeat to Fulham at Wembley.
Mokotjo made 102 appearances in his three-year stay at Brentford, who are now preparing for another season alongside Nottingham Forest in the Championship.
The 29-year-old South Africa international had joined the West London outfit from Dutch club FC Twente in 2017.
Greece international Karelis arrived at Griffin Park last summer on a one-year deal.
However, a serious knee injury restricted the 28-year-old former Genk man to only four appearances.
"It has been a pleasure to work with them and they have given their all for the club, on the pitch in the games they have played and in training, where their work has helped the group develop over the season," manager Thomas Frank told Brentford's official website.
"Nikos has been very unfortunate, and I wish him better luck with injuries in the years to come as he has proven his quality.
"Kamo has been superb for us over three years and now has the opportunity to take on a new challenge.
"They are part of the Brentford FC story and I hope we see them again."
