Panic! At The Disco singer Brendon Urie has told Donald Trump to stop using the band's music in his 2020 election campaign.
The tweet comes after the president walked out on stage to the sound of hit single 'High Hopes' at a campaign rally in Phoenix, Arizona.
Mr Urie, who has fronted the band since 2004, made the call in a Twitter post on Wednesday.
"Dear Trump Campaign," Mr Urie wrote. "F*** you. You’re not invited. Stop playing my song.
"No thanks, Brendon Urie, Panic! At The Disco & company."
Making his view clear, he followed his remarks up with another post, saying the "highest hope we have is voting this monster out".
"Dear Everyone Else, Donald Trump represents nothing we stand for," he wrote, sharing a link to a voter registration website.
"The highest hope we have is voting this monster out in November."
Mr Urie's views of Mr Trump are long-standing. In an interview with NME in 2018, he called the president a “toxic orange”.
It comes after the family of the late Tom Petty objected to the president's use of Mr Petty’s 1989 song 'I Won’t Back Down' at his rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma on June 20.
“Trump was in no way authorised to use this song to further a campaign that leaves too many Americans and common sense behind,” Mr Petty’s family said in a statement posted to social media.
"Both the late Tom Petty and his family firmly stand against racism and discrimination of any kind," the statement added.
"Tom Petty would never want a song of his used for a campaign of hate. He liked to bring people together."
