Brendan Rodgers would jump at the chance to manage Manchester United should they sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
That is the verdict from Tony Cascarino and comes amid reports that the Leicester boss is looking for house in the Cheshire area.
Solskjaer is under mounting pressure at United after a series of shocking results which have even seen fans turn their back on the club legend.
A measly four points from six Premier League games is worst than Norwich over the same period - who did dismiss their manager in Daniel Farke.
Those matches include thrashings from Manchester City and Liverpool at Old Trafford, which has weakened Solskjaer's resolve in the boardroom.

While the Norwegian has staved off the sack so far, if results continue to falter then United chiefs might have no choice.
They are dedicated to giving Solskjaer as much time as possible but even they have a breaking point and they have a contingency plan in case the 48-year-old is dismissed.
Rodgers, formerly of Liverpool, has been mooted as the ideal replacement and reports indicate that the Northern Irishman is already looking for properties in the Cheshire area.
And Cascarino reckons the ex-Celtic coach would not think twice if offered the chance to manage United.
“I know Brendan would jump at the job,” he told talkSPORT. “I say, ‘I know’ – Brendan, if he was listening, would probably say, ‘How would you know?’
“But only because [of] his track record of taking on a job when it’s offered to you.
“And Leicester is not a job of the quality of Manchester United, as much as they’ve been an incredible football club, done brilliant things and have got a great squad.
“The attraction of Manchester United is way superior for any manager. That opportunity is a once in a lifetime for Brendan.
“If it isn’t [Zinedine] Zidane, because of other issues – the way he looks at the Premier League – Brendan, I think would jump here.”

Despite the rumours, Solskjaer has insisted he is in no imminent danger and retains the full support of the board.
After the City loss, he said: "I have good communication all the time with the club that's very up-front and honest about the situation."
He added: “I’m sure when we come back, the players will be fresh in their minds after the internationals and, of course, the demands on me and the players are going to be high, expectations and we’ve just got to get back to what, as I said, we started to look like and what we were for a while and we’ve got the players to do that.”
Zinedine Zidane is another man who has been touted as a possible solution, with the Frenchman out of work and previously working with Cristiano Ronaldo.
