Brendan Rodgers will fear Marcus Rashford ahead of Man United vs Leicester

Brendan Rodgers should fear Marcus Rashford more than any other Manchester United player on Tuesday night.

The Reds welcome Leicester to Old Trafford, looking to extend their impressive 15-game unbeaten run in the Premier League after Sunday's 3-1 triumph over Aston Villa - a result ended up guaranteeing them Champions League football for next season.

It was Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani who provided United with the inspiration to emphatically complete the comeback at Villa Park, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's electric attacking pair continuing their outstanding run in front of goal.

Notably, Greenwood and Cavani in particular have been excellent in recent weeks, scoring 10 goals between them across United 's last five games, but history suggests it's actually Rashford that Leicester boss Rodgers should fear most.

Despite Rashford playing through the pain barrier, he's enjoying the most productive season of his career, having scored 20 goals and notching 15 assists in all competitions, which is an excellent contribution from the left-sided dynamic forward.

That's not the reason Leicester should fear Rashford, though, as the 23-year-old has scored five league goals against Leicester, more than against any other side since making his sensational debut under Louis van Gaal five years ago.

While Greenwood and Cavani have grabbed the headlines in recent weeks, it would be no surprise to see Rashford find the back of the net, and any goal from Rashford would certainly be warmly welcomed, with his last goal coming against Granada in early April.
