Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is 'fairly confident' of keeping Daizen Maeda at the club this summer.
The Japanese forward enjoyed a terrific 2024/25 season, during which he contributed to 44 goals across 51 appearances in all competitions.

"I don't know of any developments on that."
The Celtic boss was then asked how confident he is of keeping Maeda at the club: "I'm fairly confident of that, yeah, as can be," he replied.
A versatile frontman, Maeda particularly impressed when he played as a central striker last term.
This campaign, however, he has started Celtic's opening two league fixtures on the left wing.
"I've always said that he's a player that can play in there," said Rodgers, when asked whether he plans to use Maeda as a number nine at any point.
"We've had other options in the past.
"He's shown when he's gone in there that he can play well, so that's always an option for me."
Celtic return to action tomorrow evening as they take on Falkirk in the Premier Sports Cup.
