Brendan Rodgers names the four Arsenal players he is fearful of ahead of Leicester clash

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers has lauded Arsenal's front four ahead of the Gunners trip to the King Power Stadium.

Mikel Arteta's side travel to the east Midlands in fine form, avoiding defeat in each of their last eight encounters across all competitions.

The north London club have picked up considerable momentum after enduring a torrid start to the season that saw them 20th in the Premier League after three matches.

Summer signings Aaron Ramsdale and Takehiro Tomiyasu have helped shore up the defence, with the Gunners conceding just four times since losing 5-0 to Manchester City back in August.

Arsenal are set to battle it out with Leicester on Saturday afternoon and Rodgers has heaped praise on his opponent's attack ahead of the highly-anticipated clash.

“The front four can give you a big problem, especially on the counter, with Aubameyang and his movement,” Rodgers said.

“Lacazette links the game really well. Smith Rowe I’m a huge fan of, his running ability, how he travels with the ball. Saka on the other side as well.

“They know what it means to play for Arsenal. They’ve got a lot of talented players.”

Arsenal's front four combined brilliantly last Friday as they defeated Aston Villa 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium thanks to goals from Thomas Partey, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Emile Smith Rowe.

The Gunners will be hoping for a repeat today at the King Power - a stadium they recorded a 3-1 victory at last season when club-record signing Nicolas Pepe dominated the Foxes to help secure all three points for Arteta's men.

A win would take the north Londoners up to fifth in the standings ahead of the rest of the league's fixtures.
