Brendan Rodgers may return to his former club Leicester City to begin his shopping spree as new found Celtic boss, if reports are to be believed - with the Northern Irishman reportedly making a move for Wilfred Ndidi.
Rodgers, who joined Leicester from Celtic in March 2019 after a solid two-and-a-half-year run at Parkhead, ended up managing some of the country's best young talents including James Maddison, Youri Tielemans, Harvey Barnes and Ndidi himself. That's just the players who were still at the club when he left; never mind those who departed such as Wesley Fofana, Ben Chilwell and even Harry Maguire.
But, with the Foxes going down this season after a horror show of a campaign, many are likely to leave. Tielemans has already joined Aston Villa with his contract running out, whilst Maddison and Barnes have been linked with Newcastle and Tottenham as they aim to keep their names in and around the England set-up. But whilst Ndidi hasn't had many links, it could well be that he moves to Celtic to join up with former boss Rodgers in a surprise move for the Hoops.

The Mail suggest that Hoops boss Rodgers could well see a move for his former man happen, given that he will have sought reassurances from club chiefs over money that would see them compete on a European front somewhat over the next three years.
With international, Premier League and continental experience in absolute abundance, Ndidi would be a huge coup for the Parkhead club - especially at the age of just 26, where he has played almost 400 first-team games for clubs and country combined.
It is yet to be seen how a deal would be concluded given Ndidi's huge wages, though a loan move could well be best to help Rodgers ease into proceedings in his first season before splashing the cash as time went on.
