Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers has been heavily tipped by bookies to replace Steve Bruce at Newcastle.
The Magpies are getting set for a revolution after the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund bought out Mike Ashley making them one of the richest clubs in the Premier League.
Bruce remains in place but reports down south have suggested he is on the way out.
It's claimed Newcastle want a marquee replacement and Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has frequently been linked.
But he remains an outsider as far as bookies are concerned, placed anywhere between 8/1 and 14/1 after a flurry of bets.

In stark contrast, Coral have made ex Celtic boss Rodgers the 2/1 favourite.
That comes after a huge surge towards the Leicester boss that have seen him slashed from 16/1 on Monday.
He's moved to the front of the queue with most bookies ahead of the likes of Frank Lampard, Lucien Favre and Antonio Conte.
Rodgers has turned Leicester from a mid-table side into a top-four contender since joining from Celtic in 2019 but the Foxes have endured a difficult start to this season.
It would likely still take a substantial fee to convince Leicester to part with him, although money is likely to be no object in Tyneside these days.
