Under pressure Brendan Rodgers is facing an uphill battle with Leicester City after facing a familiar foe in Odsonne Edouard.
The former Celtic boss saw his side throw away a two goal lead against battling Palace, with former Parkhead frontman Edouard leading the line.
Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy had put the former English Premier League champions two goals ahead, before Ademola Lookman before sub Jeffrey Schlupp rescued a point.
Edouard had been mentored by Rodgers following his arrival from Paris Saint-Germain in the Scottish Premiership, before both left Parkhead for a big move south of the border.
However, Edouard joined his team-mates' wild celebrations, with Leicester still hovering dangerously close to the relegation zone in the opening exchanges of the season.
The result means City match their longest Premier League run without victory under Rodgers, a four-game winless streak from February 2020.
The Foxes are without Wesley Fofana, Jonny Evans and Wilfred Ndidi, but after two fifth-place finishes and an FA Cup win it will take a lot for Foxes fans to turn on their boss.
Rodgers was keen to focus on the positives following the clash.

He told Sky Sports: “It’s always a dangerous scoreline, 2-0.
"In most of my time here, I would have felt really comfortable with that position, because of how we defend with the ball, and normally we’re very solid.
“But I never felt overly comfortable (on Sunday). When it gets to two each, the momentum can really go against you, but the players kept fighting and I was encouraged by that aspect.
"They gave it everything, we’re just not playing to our level.
“It might be different, this season, to the last two, where we’ve started on fire and then maybe dropped off.
"Hopefully this can be the season where we build through and finish the second part of the season really strong.”
