Brendan Rodgers has already told Jurgen Klopp the four Arsenal players Liverpool should be fearful of

Former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has already told Jurgen Klopp which four Arsenal players he should be fearful of ahead of this weekend's meeting.

The Reds welcome the Gunners to Anfield on Saturday afternoon and will look to bounce back from the defeat to West Ham before the international break.

Arsenal, though, have the opportunity to leapfrog Liverpool in the table with a victory over Jurgen Klopp's side.

The Reds boss has already been warned of Arsenal's attacking threat as Brendan Rodgers named the four players he was fearful of before his side were beaten 2-0 by Mikel Arteta's side in October.

“The front four can give you a big problem, especially on the counter, with [Pierre-Emerick] Aubameyang and his movement,” he told a press conference last month.

“[Alexandre] Lacazette links the game really well. [Emile] Smith Rowe I’m a huge fan of, his running ability, how he travels with the ball. [Bukayo] Saka on the other side as well.

“They know what it means to play for Arsenal. They’ve got a lot of talented players.”

Saturday's visitors have already been handed a major injury boost as there was concerns over Aubameyang's fitness after he was stretchered off during Gabon's World Cup Qualifier victory over Libya last week.

After missing Tuesday's defeat to Egypt, he trained as normal this week and will be available for the meeting with Liverpool.

Smith Rowe and Saka were both on the scoresheet for England in their 10-0 hammering of San Marino on Monday night.

Lacazette, though, has just one goal in his six Premier League appearances so far this season after he scored in Arsenal's 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace last month.
