Brendan Rodgers has confirmed he has held talks with Celtic chiefs regarding his future at the club.
The Northern Irishman signed a three-year deal when he returned to the Parkhead in 2023 and so his contract is up next summer.
That means there is uncertainty over his future six years after he ended his first spell at the club to head for English football with Leicester City.
Rodgers says he has spoken with Dermot Desmond and other key decision makers but nothing is imminent with a new contract.
“Yes, we spoke with all the guys," he admitted.
“I had a meal and a chat around a number of things. So, yes, I had a nice meet.

"We touched base on it. But it primarily is just a chat around things. Like I’ve said, it's still a long, long way out.
“But my focus is really just now getting the team ready and making us really competitive and exciting for this coming season.
“But a year's a long, long way out.”
Rodgers is relaxed on the situation and is certain his contract uncertainty will not affect the team's performance on the pitch this season.
“No, not at all," he said when asked if that could be a concern. "I think that I have to earn my place here at Celtic. And that's what I felt when I came back.
“And it's no different.
“It wouldn't matter to me if it was one year, one week or ten years. I'd be super motivated to progress the team and keep us moving forward.”
