Brendan Rodgers confirms Injury boost for Leicester city ahead of Crystal Palace clash

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodger has confirmed that his team have positive news on the injury front ahead of the weekend's Premier League trip to Selhurst Park.

The Foxes take on Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon, with both teams going into the match riding high in the Premier League table. Both Palace and Leicester currently occupy a spot in the prestigious top six, with Rodgers' men in third, five points ahead of the sixth place Eagles.

Having won their last Premier League fixture by an away record of 9-0, and having made it through to the Carabao Cup quarter final in midweek, Leicester will travel to Selhurst Park in bouyant mood.

The midweek match didn't provide any injury problems for the management.

Only long term absentee Matty James, who is not in the club's 25-man Premier League squad, is not available for the Foxes, meaning that Rodgers will have a fully fit squad to pick from.

“We’ve got a clean bill of health,” said Rodgers in his pre match press confrerence (via LeicestershireLive ). “We’ve only got Matty James who has unfortunately been out for a period of time. Other than that, we have everyone available.”

Crystal Palace have a good recent record against Leicester, having not lost since October 2016, winning their last four and scoring 15 goals while only conceding three in the last five fixtures against the Foxes.
