Brendan Rodgers appeared irked when asked why Shin Yamada remained on Celtic's bench against St Mirren.
The Japanese forward, who signed for £1.5million from Kawasaki Frontale this summer, is yet to make his competitive debut for the club. He is seen as more of a club signing than a manager one.
During the Premiership opener against the Buddies and when turning to his bench for an attacker, Rodgers plumped for youngster Johnny Kenny instead.
He was asked about this at today's press conference previewing Sunday's clash with Aberdeen and didn't appear to take kindly to the question.

He replied: "I don't know if you've watched the game, but I put Johnny Kenny on. You can only put 11 players on.
"We have a big squad, so we took Adam off, and we put Johnny on, and in that period we scored. We put two eights on to freshen the team, and one of them scored. I can only play 11 players.
"I know in football people's values grow when they're not playing. But I always decide what I think is right for the game.
"If Shin or someone else doesn't go on, it's because in that moment, I felt the game needed something else. Johnny Kenny's done really well for us over pre-season. He's worked very hard, he's been intense, and he's created goals. He's done well.
"If I'm to answer every question of the player that you don't play or play, then we'd be sitting all day and night."
