Brendan Grace Late Late Show Tribute viewers 'in tears' as RTE air hilarious and emotional clips

Irish viewers experienced both tears of sadness and joy while watching the Brendan Grace Late Late Show Tribute on Friday night.

The late comedian's name was unsurprisingly the top Twitter trend in Ireland, as RTE aired some of the Dubliner's most iconic moments.

The funnyman, 68, passed away in July after a battle with lung cancer in a death that saddened the nation.

Now, months after his untimely death, RTE aimed to look back on the life and times of the great comedian, with heartwarming clips from over the years.
