Brendan Allen vs. Eric Spicely booked for UFC on ESPN 6 in Boston

A middleweight bout between Brendan Allen and Eric Spicely is the latest addition to October’s UFC on ESPN 6 lineup.

UFC officials today announced the bout between Allen (12-3 MMA, 0-0 UFC) and Spicely (12-5 MMA, 4-5 UFC).

UFC on ESPN 6 takes place Oct. 18 at TD Garden in Boston. The card airs on ESPN.

Allen, 23, gets his UFC debut booked just weeks after earning a contract with the promotion at Dana White’s Contender Series 20 in July He finished his fight on the show by first-round submission, giving him 11 stoppages out of 12 career victories.

Spicely, 32, will attempt to give Allen a rude introduction to the octagon and get back on track in his own career. He’s coming off a unanimous decision loss to Deron Winn at UFC on ESPN+ 12 in an entertaining affair that received “Fight of the Night” honors.

The latest UFC on ESPN 6 card now includes:

  • Dominick Reyes vs. Chris Weidman
  • Maycee Barber vs. Gillian Robertson
  • Brendan Allen vs. Eric Spicely
