Breeders star Martin Freeman reveals why his kids demanding slice of wages from show

Martin Freeman has revealed his children are demanding payment from hit show Breeders for inspiring its storylines.

Freeman plays Paul in the sitcom, a chaotic dad with anger issues parenting his two young children with partner Ally.

But he said his own children, Joseph, 15, and Grace, 12, had realised some storylines and jokes were based on their own experiences of family life.

He said: “They love it because they know they’ve inspired it – they are now trying to hit me up for royalties.

“It has got more serious each time they bring it up, especially Joseph, who is like ‘this show would not exist without us’.”
