Young man found dead in Bolton

A young man has been found dead in Bolton.

Police were called to Deane Church Lane in Daubhill just before 10.30am this morning (Sunday) following reports a body had been discovered.

Officers and paramedics rushed to the scene.

A man believed to be in his 20s was found dead. 

Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding his deatgh are ongoing, Greater Manchester Police said. 

In a statement, the force said: “Police were called to Deane Church Lane, Bolton shortly before 10.30am this morning (Sunday 23 August 2020) to a report that the body of a man had been found.

“Emergency services attended and sadly found the body of a man believed to be in his 20s. 

“Enquiries into the circumstances of the death remain ongoing.”
