X Factor star Katie Waissel has been rushed to hospital under the belief she's suffered a heart attack.
The 35-year-old, who was on the ITV show in 2010, thanked medical staff who cared for her when she took a terrible turn.
The picture Katie shared showed her lying in her hospital bed with machines and wires all around her.
She's wearing a protective face mask and superimposed a news article with the headline "NHS 'on its knees'" over the top.
She wrote: "Let me tell you, I was taken by ambulance yesterday for a suspected heart attack and @nhs @ldn_ambulance Watford general AND the ambulance services were / are amazing.
"I was initially told there was a wait by the ambulance call centre, but an ambulance was at my door within minutes.
"The entire team at Watford were / are beyond impeccable, and I am so grateful for your continued help!!
"So with this, if you’re experiencing a life threatening emergency, do not hesitate to call 999, they WILL come for you!!!"
Her fans rushed to offer their well wishes.
One wrote: "Thank you for shining a light on this Katie, hope you have a speedy recovery"
"Feel better soon," another told her.
It's said that the singer was taken to hospital by ambulance from her north London home after she began suffering the symptoms of a heart attack.
She's now resting up in hospital in Watford and being cared for by the cardiac team.
Katie is one of a number of X Factor stars who went back to normal jobs after finding fame on the show.
The former receptionist was one of the standout stars of her season after making it through to the live shows, but ended up being eliminated in the quarter final.
Rumoured plans to join Jay Z's record label never materialised, but Katie went on to release an album and join new band Red Velvet Lovers.
Katie appeared in the 2016 series of Celebrity Big Brother, and was then seen in the fourth series of American reality show Vanderpump Rules in her role as an office manager of a tattoo removal company in Los Angeles.
Now she works as a health and fitness specialist and mental health campaigner.
