A 17-year-old boy remains in hospital after being stabbed at the Victoria Station tram stop.

A huge emergency services response was sparked after the teen was knifed at around 9.10pm last night (Wednesday).

Several police cars were pictured at the scene and a cordon was in place around the city centre station.

He remains there in a stable condition and his condition is not believed to life-threatening, the force added.

No arrests have been made.

The incident was 'isolated' and there is 'no threat to the wider community'.
