Forty six more died in England, four in Scotland, five in Wales, and one in Northern Ireland.
The fatality ends Northern Ireland's days-long stretch with no new deaths.
The figures after a weekend are to be treated with caution as they are often lower as there is typically a reporting lag early in the week.
Tuesday's figure does not include deaths across all settings.
The full UK toll including Covid-19 deaths in care homes and the wider community will be announced later today.

Today the whole UK death toll surpassed 54,000 according to a Reuters tally of official data sources.
The latest Office for National Statistics (ONS) figures showed the number of excess deaths in the UK with Covid-19 mentioned is trending down for the ninth consecutive week.
This time last week the hospital death toll rose by 93 on June 16.
Previous Tuesday hospital death tolls include 145 on June 9 and 164 on June 2.
The highest rise in a single day in June was on June 3, when 215 new deaths were reported.

Today's rise comes after Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the latest easing of lockdown rules.
The leader unveiled the latest changes in the Commons today, after they were approved by Cabinet.
He announced changes set to kick in next month, enabling more friends and families to reunite indoors as long as they are practising social distancing.
They won't be able to spend the night, but it will enable more reunions of families and friends, and the return of dinner parties as there is no limit on how many households Brits can mix with - as long as it's just two at a time.
The two-metre distancing guideline will also reduce to one metre, largely to enable struggling pubs and restaurants to reopen from July 4.
The rule change will also mean summer holidays can restart, as people will be able to go camping from July.
Hairdressers, hotels, campsites and caravan parks will be allowed to operate again along with art galleries, museums, outdoor playgrounds and outdoor gyms.
They will only be able to open if they can show safety measures are in place to prevent the spread of the virus.
Nightclubs, indoor gyms and nail salons are among the businesses that will remain closed.
There is not yet an extension of the household 'bubbles' that allow single-person households to spend the night a second household.
