Tyson Fury jumps barricade at WWE Smackdown after being goaded by Braun Strowman

Tyson Fury jumped the barricade at WWE Smackdown after being goaded by Braun Strowman - teasing a potential move into the squared circle for the heavyweight boxing star.

Fury had to be held back by several security staff as he appeared to try and get in the ring with Strowman after being angered by his antics.

It started when Strowman spotted Fury sitting in the front row at Smackdown and pretended to square up to the former world heavyweight champion.

It all seemed light-hearted to begin with as Fury played along, standing up to face Strowman and putting up his fists.

But then chaos ensued after Dolph Ziggler attacked Strowman from behind.

'The Monster Among Men' Strowman spun around and threw Ziggler into the ringpost behind him, then back the other way into the barricade, hitting Fury and knocking him back down to his seat.

Fury got up looking less than impressed at Strowman, who at first appeared to hope 'The Gypsy King' would see the funny side.

But Fury wasn't laughing along with Strowman, who was soon back in the safety of the ring. Fury jumped the barricade, shouting and pointing at Strowman, but was held back by at least eight security staff as Strowman carried on laughing in the ring.

The scenes hinted at a potential move into WWE for Fury, who is is currently awaiting a rematch with WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

Wilder has agreed to face Fury again as long as he comes through his next fight against Luis Ortiz unscathed on November 23.

The ‘Gypsy King’ was last in the ring on September 14 when he scored a unanimous points victory against Sweden’s Otto Wallin.

Earlier at Smackdown, The Rock made a big impact on his return as he floored Baron Corbin.

After humiliating Corbin the 47-year-old then goaded the former general manager of RAW into a fight.

With the help of Becky Lynch, he ended it quickly after landing a ‘People’s Elbow’, followed by a ‘Rock Bottom’ move.
