London's iconic Tower Bridge was closed after a person climbed up the structure.
Pictures taken at the scene show a figure standing on the edge of the bridge.
They appear to be stood on the barrier by the footpath, which is 44m above the River Thames.
Shortly after 11.30am the City of London Police closed the road.
Roughly an hour later it reopened again after the person climbed down.

In July last year huge queues were caused when a man climbed up the central structure of the bridge.
He climbed as high as possible, before the path ahead became too steep for him to continue without slipping down.
By the time emergency service workers noticed he was making his ascent the man was teetering high above the road.
Michelle Stone, an Australian on holiday in the UK, was taking a stroll across the bridge from the Tower of London when she spotted the climber.
"I was walking over the bridge when I saw this guy climbing up," she told The Mirror at the time.
"It caused a really big traffic jam."
