Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Son Heung-min named in Premier League Team of the Year

Tottenham Hotspur forwards Harry Kane and Son Heung-min have been named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year.

In fact, Spurs are the only London side represented in the chosen XI.

It will come as no surprise that Kane makes the team following a truly stunning season under two different managers as he proved he's not just a goal scorer, but a creator of goals for his teammates.

As well as netting 23 Premier League goals to claim the Golden Boot award once again he also topped the assists chart with 14 - winning him the Playmaker of the Season award too.

Son was certainly someone who benefitted from Kane's unselfishness as a large number of his 17 Premier League goals were assisted by the England captain.

As a result, the Spurs no.7 also takes his place in PFA Premier League Team of the Year.

The Tottenham pair complete an exciting attacking trio that also includes Liverpool star Mohamed Salah who ran Kane close for the Golden Boot as he needed a goal on the final day of the season against Crystal Palace to draw level.

It's an all-Manchester midfield three with Bruno Fernandes joining Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan in the engine room.

And the back five is dominated by Manchester City who were once again crowned Premier League champions.

Golden Glove winner Ederson takes his place in between the sticks as he lines up with teammates Joao Cancelo, John Stones and Ruben Dias, with Luke Shaw the sole Man United inclusion to the back line.

But there could be yet another award in store for Kane this weekend.

In addition to being named in the Premier League Team of the Year, Kane has been nominated for the PFA's Men's Player of the Year award.

The PFA awards show will be broadcast live via their social media channels on Sunday 6th June at 6.30pm.
