Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the signing of Michel Vorm.
The goalkeeper has agreed a deal which will keep see him stay in North London until the end of the season.
The addition will come as a surprise following the decision to allow the 35-year-old to leave the club at the end of his contract last season.
However it seems that the injury suffered by Hugo Lloris has forced the club into bringing the experience stopper back to the club as cover for Paulo Gazzaniga.
Vorm has been without a club since leaving Spurs after not being able to find a new club in the months since and even posted an image on social media this week, using the hashtag #lifeafterfootball.
He will be able to be added to Tottenham's Premier League squad as a free agent as the club only confirmed a 22-man squad for the competition in August, leaving three spaces for senior players.
However, he will not be able to be registered for the Champions League until the knockout stages in February, when Lloris could well be back.
Vorm will wear the number 13 jersey in N17.
