Tottenham have completed the signing of Steven Bergwijn from PSV Eindhoven.
Bergwijn becomes Jose Mourinho's second signing of the January transfer window, following Gedson Fernandes' move from Benfica. Giovani Lo Celso also made his summer loan move a permanent switch on Tuesday.
The Dutch winger has joined the north Londoners for a fee in the region of £25million, with another £1.6million in potential add-ons, taking the price up to around £27million.
The 22-year-old has signed a five-and-a-half-year contract and has been given the number 23 shirt number - only just vacated by Christian Eriksen, who left the club for Inter Milan on Tuesday.
Bergwijn is a product of PSV's youth academy, and after emerging as a highly-rated youngster at the club has gone on to become a key player in the senior side.
Still only 22, he has already made almost 150 appearances for his team and is now considered one of the best players in the Eredivisie.
A skilful player dangerous on either side of the pitch he can line up as a wide attacker or in more central positions as an out-and-out forward.
Regardless of where he plays, he has been heavily involved in setting up and scoring goals for PSV and directly had a role in 26 goals for his team from 33 appearances in the league last season.
Speaking about the move to Spurs, he said: "I think it's an amazing move, an amazing club and whatever I have, whatever I can bring, I will give it for the club and for this team."
