An fresh explosion has hit Sri Lanka - days after more than 300 people died in terror attacks.
The new blast happened in a town east of the Sri Lankan capital Colombo on Thursday morning.
There were no causalities in the blast earlier today, police reported.
The explosion took place in empty land behind a magistrate's court in Pugoda, which is 40km east of th capital.
"There was an explosion behind the court, we are investigating," said police spokesman Ruwan Gunasekera, adding it was not a controlled detonation like other blasts in recent days.
