A second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of tragic Hamilton teenager Amber Gibson.
The 43-year-old is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court tomorrow, January, 5.
It comes after 16-year-old Amber's brother, Connor Gibson, already appeared in court in connection with her death.
The 19-year-old was charged with murder, sexual assault and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He made no plea and was remanded in custody.
Police Scotland confirmed that a second man has been arrested and charged.
A spokesperson from the force said: "The 43-year-old man is due to appear at Hamilton Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 5 January, 2022.
"The body of Amber, 16, was discovered near to Cadzow Glen around 10.10am on Sunday, 28 November, 2021.
"A 19-year-old man has already been arrested, charged and appeared in court in connection with the death."
