Four people have died after a crane fell off an under-construction Google building in Seattle crushing cars on a road below.
Horrifying images show at least six cars pinned underneath a large yellow construction crane.

It is unclear what caused the crane to have collapsed, but one half is said to have struck the top of the building before the other half fell onto the street below.
Esther Nelson, who was working nearby, told the Seattle Times: “It was terrifying.
"Half of it was flying down sideways on the building. The other half fell down on the street, crossing both lanes of traffic.”

“I looked up. The wind was blowing really strong."
Mayor Jenny Durkan said in a statement on Twitter: "My thoughts and prayers are with those killed and injured."
The crane appears to have fallen from a building that is set to house Google in the summer.

The huge campus is said to have been under construction for two years.
The search engine giant has been in the city for 15 years and has around 3,400 employees there.
The incident took place in an area heavily populated with cranes building offices and apartments.
It was claimed in January that Seattle had more construction cranes than any other US city.
