The Duke of York has been uncooperative over the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking inquiry, a US prosecutor has said.
Federal Prosecutors and the FBI in the US have tried to interview Prince Andrew about the late billionaire financier.
The royal has not responded to their requests however, the US attorney in Manhattan Geoffrey S. Berman said today.
The lawyer made the revelation while in a news conference about the victims of human and sex trafficking, the New York Times reported.
During his train-crash interview with Newsnight's Emily Maitlis last year, Prince Andrew said that he would help law enforcement agencies in their investigations into Epstein.

However, Mr Berman said he had provided “zero cooperation.”
Before being asked about the Duke, he confirmed the investigation was looking at possible "conspirators" who worked with Epstein.
Mr Berman added: "Jeffrey Epstein couldn't have done what he did without the assistance of others, and I can assure you that the investigation is moving forward."

Epstein admitted procuring teens for prostitution in 2008 and got 18 months.
He died last August, aged 66, while awaiting trial on child sex trafficking charges.
Prince Andrew first met him back in 1999.
One of Epstein's accusers, Virginia Roberts Giuffre, said that the financier trafficked her to Prince Andrew.
The Prince has repeatedly denied this allegation.
