Police launch major search for mum and two kids, aged 3 and 4, missing for 24 hours


Police have launched an urgent appeal to find a missing mother and her children, who have not been seen since yesterday afternoon.

Carla Bennett, 35, was seen leaving her home address in Swindon at 2.30pm yesterday (June 11).

She was later seen in Wimpole Avenue, Swindon, at 9.40pm.

It is believed she is with her two sons, aged three and four.

Police say she is described as white with long, mousey hair and is thought to be wearing black jeans and a pink sleeveless top.

She is also likely to have a black and blue pram with her.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "We’re appealing for the public’s help in locating a missing mother and her children.

"Carla Bennett, 35, was seen leaving her home address in Swindon at 2.30pm yesterday (11/06). She was later seen in Wimpole Avenue, Swindon, at 9.40pm last night. It is believed she is with her two sons, aged three and four."

Anyone with information as to Carla’s whereabouts is asked to call Wiltshire Police immediately on 101 and quote reference number 54210056072.
